Know Before You Go

Frequently
Asked Questions

Parking, tickets, doors, merch and who to call. If the answer you need is not here, reach the General Manager direct at (541) 323-1881 or John@volcanictheatrepub.com.

How do I buy tickets?
All official tickets are sold through Tixr, our ticketing partner. Every show on the Event Calendar links straight to its Tixr ticket page, and you can browse all of our upcoming shows at tixr.com/groups/volcanictheatre. Tickets are delivered digitally and scanned right from your phone at the door. We recommend you always buy through this site or Tixr directly to ensure you don't get scammed — we cannot verify tickets purchased from resellers or third-party sites.
What time do doors open?
Door times vary by show — every listing on the Event Calendar shows that night's door time. We are usually at the venue about two hours before doors, so on a show day email is the best way to reach us.
Where can I park?
There are several parking options around the venue, both surface lots with no costs and on-street parking spaces as well.
Do you need an ID to enter the venue?
An ID is not required for entry. However, in compliance with the laws of the State of Oregon, anyone 21 and older who plans on drinking or purchasing alcohol will have to show a valid, non-expired, government issued photo ID or Passport. For shows with age restrictions, an ID is required for entry. This policy is strictly enforced and any violation will result in immediate ejection from the venue.
Are shows all ages?
Age restrictions vary by show and are listed on each event's ticket page. For shows with age restrictions, an ID is required for entry — this policy is strictly enforced.
What items can I not bring into the venue?
Any illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia, electronic smoking devices, backpacks, large bags or purses, weapons of any kind, professional camera equipment, laser pointers, markers or sharpies, wallet chains, spiked jewelry, lighters and matches, and outside food and beverages.
Will I be searched before entering?
In order to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, we reserve the right to search and/or use a metal detector on anyone before entering VTP.
Is smoking permitted inside the venue?
Smoking is not allowed inside the venue, but we do have designated smoking areas outside.
What is your re-entry policy?
For all shows there is NO RE-ENTRY — this is for the safety of the venue and staff. You are allowed to exit the venue to use the smoking patio; re-entry is handled on a case-by-case basis with a member of VTP Management.
Does the venue have seats?
Unless a show is advertised as seated, our shows are general admission and standing room only. A small number of couches are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Patrons with special needs should email us in advance to make arrangements.
Is there wheelchair accessibility?
Yes. Please feel free to email in advance in order to make arrangements.
What are your policies regarding photo, video and audio?
Pictures or video on your cell phone are allowed; any professional camera or video equipment is not allowed unless you have been approved by the artist's management. Still photo and recording policies are at the band's discretion and are subject to change each show.
Does the venue have an ATM on site?
No. There are two ATMs located at First Interstate Bank next door and Selco Community Credit Union across the street.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
How do I hear about new shows first?
Sign up for event notifications using the Get On The List form on this site and follow us on Facebook and Instagram — new shows are announced there first.
Do you accept artist submissions?
YES! Email your EPK to John@volcanictheatrepub.com.
